LOUD WOMEN Fest returns to Halifax on Saturday 24 October, bringing ten brilliant women and non-binary artists to The Seahorse Tavern for a full day of punk, indie, rock, pop, folk, hip hop and everything in between.
Following last year’s sold-out Halifax debut, we’re back with another eclectic lineup showcasing some of the most exciting artists from Nova Scotia and across Canada.
The LOUD WOMEN Fest Halifax 2026 lineup is:
Alanna Matty
Altered by Mom
Amygdala Hijack
Burry
Freya Milliken
Penny & the Pits
SALTLAMP
Shoulder Season
Warlet
We, Cassie
Halifax singer-songwriter and producer Alanna Matty combines intricate songwriting with immersive live looping, while Toronto alternative-rock trio Altered by Mom bring gritty guitars, huge hooks and plenty of joyful noise.
Amygdala Hijack deliver an explosive collision of punk, hardcore, ska and folk. Burry brings bright, high-energy queer pop, returning to LOUD WOMEN after appearances on both sides of the Atlantic.
Freya Milliken’s thoughtful indie-folk songwriting sits alongside the raw rock ’n’ roll energy of Penny & the Pits, the distinctive sounds of SALTLAMP and Halifax indie-rock favourites Shoulder Season.
Rising hip hop artist Warlet joins the bill, while We, Cassie is a special collaboration between LOUD WOMEN founder Cassie Fox and Halifax musician Cassie Mann, performing songs by menopunk band I, Doris.
Founded in London in 2015 with the aim of putting more women on stages, LOUD WOMEN has grown into an international community of musicians, promoters, writers, photographers and music fans. LOUD WOMEN festivals and events now take place across the UK, Canada, the USA, Europe, Japan and Australia.
LOUD WOMEN Fest Halifax takes place at The Seahorse Tavern on Saturday 24 October 2026.
