Prima Queen

Sometimes you feel so strongly about someone that even just a ‘Crumb’ is enough to make you feel like it was destiny that you met. South East London based duo Prima Queen speaks about exactly that in this clever new single. With dance rhythms and pop lyrics this song is guaranteed to get people moving and singing along all whilst being drawn by the relatability whether it be a teenage crush or an adult connection its an experience difficult to avoid.

But the duo, made up off Louise Macphail and Kristin McFadden describe this single in a way that I can not compete:

“‘Crumb’ is about when you are in a state of limerence for someone and all you have of them is a tiny little bread crumb they left you (but you like that crumb a lot). So you cling on to that little freckle of hope for dear life, dreaming that one day it could become a bagel, or a baguette, or a sexy little sourdough boule.”

I hope that you take the time to truly listen to the lyrics too, because there are lines cleverly imbedded that hold bits of humour. Which is definitely needed in the often over serious topic that love and relationships become, and the below is probably my favourite:

There you go again and again, I should charge you for rent
