Loose Articles at LOUD WOMEN Fest 2025 – what an absolute joy! We’ve been fans of this Manchester crew since way back in 2020, when they played one of our lockdown Zoom gigs (remember those weird times?). To finally have them live and loud in London was a total treat – and they did not disappoint.

They came armed with bangers, banter, and of course the limbo, which whipped the crowd into a grinning, sweaty frenzy. Hearing ‘Sinead Loves Bitcoin’ live was a particular highlight – dedicated with much love to our very own photographer Sinead Ferguson (who, for the record, does not love bitcoin … she just had her account hacked once, poor thing).

A fab band, a fab set, and a band absolutely on the rise. With whispers of exciting projects in the pipeline, we can’t wait to see what they do next.

“Loose Articles. A name so familiar I did wonder had I seen them but I hadn’t and when they started playing I know I certainly should have done. Brilliant stuff mixing punk rock, quirky pop and some superb twangy old school rock n roll with the fantastic guitarist mastering that 50s sound. Absolutely wonderful set. A definite must see again.” – John the Punk
