Hastings band Comeback Clit are playing LOUD WOMEN Club at the Piper in St Leonards/Hastings on Thursday 6 October. It's the first time we have had them play a Loud Women show so we wanted to find out more about them...
  1. For people who’ve not heard you play live before, what can we expect from you at the LOUD WOMEN gig?

We play short, noisy songs. Don’t expect a set longer than 20 minutes.

2. What’s the most important thing we need to know about your band right now?

None of us have ever played in bands before – we got to grips with our instruments over lockdown and first played live in front of people in August 2021.

3. If you could add any musician (live or dead) to your band lineup, who would it be?

This is too hard! We started the band as we are all friends outside of it – this is our own thing. Also to borrow a song title from Menstrual Cramps – don’t idolise your idols.

4. Pass the mic – who are your top 3 contemporary bands?

Hard for us to pick just 3 bands, but for now, Scowl, Shooting Daggers and Pink Suits

5. Draw us a picture.

Catch Comeback Clit on Thurs 6 Oct at The Piper! Tickets on sale here.

I am formerly of 90s cult band Rosa Mota (and since then 1 half of Crown Estate) and now have my own band, I am HER. I also run the Loud Women on Sea shows at the Piper, St Leonards (Hastings) and sometimes write for Loud Women too.
