Two live sessions and a whole heap of brand-new music are coming your way on LOUD WOMEN Radio this Tuesday, with Cassie Fox hosting live from the Resonance 104.4FM studio.
First up, we’re delighted to welcome Avery Friedman, who’s visiting London from Brooklyn on her first UK and European tour. Avery released her debut album New Thing last year, and will be joining us for a live session and chat ahead of her London show the following evening.
We’re also welcoming x-blu into the studio, with Dani Tagen and Gary Parker performing a stripped-back set. Dani is a familiar face at LOUD WOMEN gigs, usually found behind the camera photographing everyone else! This week she’s swapping her camera for a microphone, ahead of x-blu’s first LOUD WOMEN gig at the Bread & Roses in Clapham on Wednesday 4 November.
And we’ve got a packed selection of brand-new music from women and non-binary artists around the world. Listen out for Sour Tongue‘s gloriously chaotic ‘Company Karaoke Party’, Poesie‘s eco-feminist anthem ‘Nature Mother’, a powerful stripped-back version of MIRI‘s ‘Freedom Is The Purpose’, and LOVIET‘s ‘FEEDER’. Plus fresh sounds from f.o. machete, Judy Doom, Sonic Volt, Purple Negative and plenty more.
Tune in Tuesday 3 November, 6–7.30pm, on Resonance 104.4FM in London, DAB across Greater London, or listen live online.
