Things got wonderfully spooky on LOUD WOMEN Radio on Tuesday 27 October, with Piney Gir, Ruth Barnes and Constance Sojourner taking over the Resonance 104.4FM studio for an early Halloween special!
Our very special guests Mother Church treated us to a beautiful stripped-back live session, bringing their distinctive blend of experimental folk, classical influences and storytelling to the airwaves. Their debut album Yolk arrives on 13 November via Trapped Animal.

Sadly, Lelia wasn’t able to join us as planned. We’re sending her lots of love and wishing her well, and we’ll look forward to welcoming her into the studio another time.
Meanwhile, Piney, Ruth and Constance kept the Halloween spirit alive with a gloriously eclectic playlist of witches, vampires, ghosts and all things strange and wonderful.
Huge thanks to everyone who made the show happen, and to Dani Tagen for capturing the evening in photos.
