On Friday 6 November, LOUD WOMEN Fest Toronto takes over The Baby G for a huge celebration of independent music, bringing together eight incredible acts from Toronto, across North America and the UK.
We’re so excited to be bringing LOUD WOMEN to Toronto for the first time, working with brilliant local organisers Juno from Chinese Medicine and Shiv from Shiv and the Carvers to put together a festival that celebrates the city’s thriving DIY music community.
And what a lineup we’ve got!
Chinese Medicine, Enfants Sauvages, I, Doris, Iris Marlowe, Morgan-Paige, SHY FRiEND, Stress Dolls and Sunlust will be sharing the stage for a night that spans feminist punk, francophone garage rock, experimental music, gothic country, indie and plenty more.
From Toronto’s own underground music scene to bands travelling in from the US and UK, this is exactly what LOUD WOMEN is all about: connecting musicians across borders, building community and putting more women on more stages.
