New Jersey-raised, LA-based artist Maddy Davis shares new single ‘Good Presentation’ via Suede Records. The track dives into being friendzoned and the desperation of wanting those feelings to be mutual. Maddy shares:
“It’s about reading the room wrong. This happened to me a few years ago and I was so desperate for their attention that I was making up scenarios in my head.”
The chorus, “I’ll go get naked | Good Presentation,” is where Maddy sheds all layers, describing it as “stripping yourself bare for them, being so honest and vulnerable just to be shut down. At first, you’re fine with just being their friend, then all of a sudden it becomes too much and you explode with honesty and desperation.”
The last of a trio of spring singles, Maddy shows her growth from a middle kid from New Jersey to a rising artist unafraid to embrace vulnerability.
