New York City band Trinket, the project of Madison Kate Proffitt and Sean Camargo, announce their signing to Brooklyn-based indie label Take Care Records. Their new single ‘If Not Soon Then Now’ is a fuzzy, sweet preview of what’s to come, accompanied by a whimsical music video.
“This song is very directly about starting a relationship with someone new; it’s exciting, but you quickly realize that insecurities, fears, and things you’ve dealt with in past relationships don’t go away just because you’ve started over. It’s also about having something that you’re excited about and are scared you’re going to ruin it with those insecurities. It’s almost like just the fear of it makes your worries come true.”
