London art-rock four-piece Cherry i announce their debut EP Yes, but I could never tell that lie, out 17 July. Alongside the announcement, the band share new single ‘Arctic Sun’.
‘Arctic Sun’ burns with freezing intensity and melancholy. Vocalist Nikol Kozin says the track describes “what it is like to be in a desperate state of looking for fulfillment in a romantic relationship without complications. Something that on its own can be like addiction with the lyrics stating, ‘after you, after you, I quit people’”.
