Cambridge-based four-piece Lemondaze sign to Venn Records and share new single ‘o(type)’ — their first release since 2021. Known for their post-rock-meets-shoegaze wall of sound, ‘o(type)’ is a heavy reintroduction to the band.

‘o(type)’ is where lost love lingers in a purgatory of longing. Lemondaze shares more about ‘o(type)’:

“It’s an unconventional love song, the relationship is over, but the wanting and the hurt is still present. Loving someone even though you shouldn’t, that you should move on but you can’t.

‘o(type)’ is a purer, more honest song, it comes directly from our souls. It’s unashamedly us, about our personal relationships with love. We hadn’t made music like that before. This new music feels like a truer representation of us that captures the energy of our live sound which we have previously struggled to do.”

Upcoming live date:
14 Aug – Somerset (UK) – ArcTanGent Festival
