Los Angeles based band Flamango Bay returns with indie punk anthem ‘Hazardous Material’.
Ikaika Gunderson, Dash Goss-Post, and Georgia Manou are known for their indie rock sound infused with surf rock and indie pop. Tapping into their SF Bay Area DIY roots, the trio independently dropped ‘Hazardous Material’. This track was produced, engineered, and mixed by Aidan Farley (cutcraft music group).
‘Hazardous Material’ draws inspiration from medical anxiety, schoolyard chants, and reflections on teenagehood.
“In a time where so many people are unjustly treated as dangerous and less than human, including trans people, this song is a representation of what can happen to us when that treatment is internalized.”
