Singer-songwriter Rosa Bordallo just announced her sophomore album Isidro and shares anti-war song ‘I Feel Numb’.

Bordallo’s second full-length solo album Isidro is out 2025 January via Bad Auntie Records.

Bordallo is an indigenous artist from Guam, now living in New York City. Over several releases and being a member in the band indie rock band, cholo, Isidro is where Bordallo is at the next level of her musical journey.

‘I Feel Numb’ is the first single from Isidro and the closing track. ‘I Feel Numb’ was written when Russia invaded Ukraine. Despite the name, ‘I Feel Numb’ makes you feel emotional.

“I wrote this song around the time of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. My friends helped me translate the last verse into other languages. The Russian translation is courtesy of a friend who grew up in Kharkiv. Something can be so awful, it defies any explanation. Music has a way of transmuting that. The guitar solo might be my favorite of any I’ve ever written. One of my inspirations for this song was ‘Miss Sarajevo’ by Passengers.”
