Today we are stoked to bring you the exclusive premiere of ‘Sidelines’ by Antwerp and Hamburg-based dream-pop duo The Day, ahead of tomorrow’s general release.
This is latest single from the band’s second album The Kids Are Alright, slated for 10 May.
Awash with a sense of urgency and emotion, ‘Sideline’ talks about dealing with fears and personal insecurities. Vocalist Laura Loeters explains:
“Sidelines is basically about looking at yourself from the outside, and what it’s like to find peace in the validation of others. But in all the chaos of thoughts, you know that you are not alone. And that you first have to accept things as they are. Because you also know that one day everything will be okay again.”
