We are thrilled to bring you the premiere of New York-based KAZIMI’s new single – Fever Dream – a day ahead of general release.

This is a song about pleasure and craving. About wanting something (someone) so bad that the desire seeps into your every moment, coloring everything you see. That obsession, that need, that want. Bodies seeking bodies.

KAZIMI

The latest release from upcoming debut LP River Run, Fever Dream is a titillating exploration of all-consuming desire. In short – it is a sexy, sexy song! I mean this in the best way. Pulsing percussion sets Fever Dream’s ‘heartbeat’, while breathy vocals sell the need of the lyrics without falling into cringe territory. It is a steady build to the song’s climax, which comes as a rushing cascade of layered vocals and instrumentation before the track’s sudden end. A very effective mirror for the real thing. But don’t just take my word for it …

Fever Dream officially releases on 31st May. Keep an eye out for River Run later this year – check out our premiere of its lead single here. In the meantime, catch KAZIMI live at The Bowery Electric (June 4th) and find her online at:
