Hotly-tipped Cambridgeshire twosome Collars ("wholesome indie like your mama used to make, if your mama was Karen O and your grandparents were the White Stripes") are coming to play LOUD WOMEN Club at the Hope & Anchor this Saturday 9 April – can't wait to see em in the flesh! You coming?
We got to know them a bit better with our gently-probing 5 question interview ...

1. For people who’ve not heard you play live before, what can we expect from you at the LOUD WOMEN gig?
A raucous meeting of indie and punk that harks back to noughties bands like Yeah Yeah Yeahs and The Ting Tings [The Ting Ting Tings? -Ed], but played in a way you’ve not seen before.

2. What’s the most important thing we need to know about your band right now?
There may only be two of us, but we make as much of a racket as possible with as few hands as possible.

3. If you could add any musician (alive or dead) to your band lineup, who would it be?
Dan: Damon Albarn

Kane: Dinah Washington

4. Pass the mic – who are your top three contemporary bands?
Cor that’s tough… Gorillaz, Paramore, Twenty One Pilots…

5. Draw us a picture…
