A relatively new band, but already stalwarts of the London DIY scene – we are so excited to welcome duo Dinosaur Skull (Cil and Michael) to play LOUD WOMEN Club on 12 Feb! We set them our probing 5 question interview …

1. For people who’ve not heard you play live before, what can we expect from you at the LOUD WOMEN gig?

Catchy homemade tunes about a range of social maladies, foxes and squirrels delivered over scratchy beats you can dance to.

2. What’s the most important thing we need to know about your band right now?

We’re proof that’s getting on a stage and doing what you enjoy, saying what you want to say and putting a smile on the audience’s faces is way more important than years of practice or natural talent. Cil started playing guitar and gigs quite late in life and we want to empower people in the same position or those who feel too shy or don’t think they have the confidence to give it a go. Just go for it!

3. If you had to do a cover at the gig, what cover would you choose to play?

Big Drill Car’s ‘In Green Fields’

4. Pass the mic – who are your top 3 contemporary bands?

Kiss Me Killer, The Lovely Eggs, She Drew the Gun

5. Draw us a picture…

Love dogs but rubbish at drawing. My default doodle!
