“In The End is a love story about building a nest around yourself and those you love. Uncertainty and melancholy has a place in all three of us, and we have long been wanting to celebrate and explore this in our music. We wanted to write a song that contained both the romantic and the vulnerable side of a love story, whilst also showing the brutal and grandiose aspect of it, the drama and the grief – just as we experience love.”
