Pop-punk and alternative rock artist LØLØ packs a punch with new single ‘007’ and the surprise announcement of her upcoming sophomore album, due for release on 17 April. The album, titled god forbid a girl spits out her feelings!, includes thirteen tracks, including ‘007’, recent ballad ‘me with no shirt on’, and fan-favorite ‘the devil wears converse’, a single released last summer and included on the setlist during many live performances in 2025.

I discovered LØLØ when she opened for pop-punk band Simple Plan during their “Bigger Than You Think!” tour across North America (you can catch them in 2026 as they bring the tour across Europe). Coming on stage just before rock band Bowling For Soup, I immediately turned to my friend, Amy, and asked “who is this?” LØLØ brings the stage presence, and I can’t wait to hear her new single, ‘007’, live.
Unlike some of LØLØ’s “sad-girl” ballads, ‘007’ is an upbeat track in which she flirts with the subject character but knows she may end up heartbroken in the end. The song playfully incorporates James Bond symbolism in the opening verse with “You like it shaken / Not stirred / Tastes like I’m gonna get hurt” and “Baby, you’re 007 / Got a license to kill / I bet you blow it all up / just for the thrill” in the chorus. LØLØ (whose real name is Lauren Mandel) co-writes the song with fellow Fearless Records artist Taylor Acorn, with whom she collaborated with on a remix of Acorn’s song, ‘Nervous System’ in 2024.
LØLØ, who played at legendary Vans Warped Tour in 2025, canceled recent tour dates at the end of the year as she underwent surgery for vocal polyps. Keep an eye on LØLØ’s socials and LOUD WOMEN’s website for future tour dates.
