Baltimore’s own Tomato Flower wow with their debut album No. If raw, ragged emotions are what you look for from a band, this is one you won’t want to miss.

I find it hard to highlight any one track in particular, as it is an album well worth listening to in its entirety to best appreciate the very personal narrative it weaves.

No is also a stylistic departure from Tomato Flower’s established ‘formalist psych pop’, with dreamy folksiness swooping effortlessly into metal spikiness (often within the same track!) – fans of aggressive drumming should be particularly excited for this one!
