New York City-based art punk band Tea Eater released ‘Double’, the first look into their forthcoming LP. Fronted by Tarra Thiessen of Gustaf and Sharkmuffin, Tea Eater instantly grabbed our attention at LOUD WOMEN headquarters!

‘Double’ is the result of a meditative cross-country drive from LA to Lake Placid with Gustaf and the Twin Peaks: Revival along the ride. ‘Double’ is a spiraling surf rock fueled track that makes you want to move and fight your inner doppelganger.

“These versions of ourselves tend to make us get in our own way. By shedding our doubles and integrating the icky parts back into ourselves we’re able to become more whole and present people.”

Tarra Thiessen

The Lynchian inspired music video was directed, shot, and edited by Gustaf’s Tine Hill and of course Lake Placid is the perfect backdrop.
