LOUD WOMEN favourite deux furieuses hold nothing back in their powerful new single ‘Bring Down the Government’ – a track of the day last week, which is so poignant this week we’re making it our single of the week this week too!

Simple and to the point, this rallying cry of a song is a cathartic outburst. An intricate, disjointed guitar riff kicks things off, with warped vocals later adding to the feeling of wrongness that compliments the rage-fuelled lyrics.

“’Bring Down the Government’ started as a paranoid riff jam with us jumping on a fuzz box and behind the kit on Vas’s attic to make some noise around the first lockdown. It soon became a musical grenade aimed at the dark heart of Boris Johnson’s Conservative Government…”

The poignant inclusion of the Covid-19 memorial in Lambeth throughout an otherwise minimalist music video says all that needs to be said.
