LOUD WOMEN’s Alise Elberga caught up with Mae ahead of WREX playing three LOUD WOMEN shows in a single weekend! We’ll see them at LOUD WOMEN Fest London on 5 September, before they kick off Sunday in Brighton and head straight to Canterbury to end the streak in style.
We spoke, of course, about their pre-gig preparation. On stage, WREX are a constant ball of energy, and honestly, it sounds like a workout before they even get to the actual performance. Mae also gave us the lowdown on the band’s first physical releases, kicking things off strongly with some very cool limited-edition vinyl and CDs. We also recapped two incredible festivals back to back: Rebellion and Bloodstock. And yes, we did make Mae choose a favourite!
