Pure rage-fuelled punk bliss in the midst of all the rock and metal: Brighton punk band PUSSYLIQUOR gave us some of their time at Download Festival 2026 after a storming performance opening the festival’s second day. (Look out for our review of Saturday at Download hitting the site shortly!).
In this catch-up, Ari, Hannah, Lucy, Tallulah and Vikki reveal fun facts about themselves to our roving reporter Alise Elberga, including a shared love of plane spotting. We also try to normalise talking about day jobs, because the reality is that, in the creative industries, you’ll most likely have one. It’s time to take off those rose-tinted glasses about how glamorous it all looks from the outside. These punks have some pretty cool jobs too that you might not expect!
They also reveal they were absolutely starving after an early start at the festival, only to discover breakfast had already disappeared because, apparently, Axl Rose needed a mountain of quail eggs. Just how many quail eggs does one man actually eat? Answers on a postcard…
