LOUD WOMEN Fest makes its Dublin debut on Saturday 29 August.
Since launching in London in 2015, LOUD WOMEN has grown into a worldwide movement championing women-led and non-binary artists, with festivals across the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Germany and Japan. Now, for the first time, LOUD WOMEN Fest comes to Dublin.
Taking over Fibber Magees for a full day of live music, the festival brings together artists from Ireland, the UK, Canada and Australia for a celebration of punk, indie, alternative and DIY culture.
💋 Bill Ricky (Nova Scotia, Canada) – boot-stomping girl country with grit, humour and heart.
💋 DC Dolls (Dublin) – fierce, hook-filled alt-rock from one of Ireland’s most exciting all-female bands.
💋 Dose (Dublin/Wexford) – dream pop, post-punk, grunge and shoegaze fused into a powerful and distinctive sound.
💋 FOSFÍN (Dublin) – atmospheric art-rock with Brazilian influences and an adventurous creative spirit.
💋 Holy Show (Dublin) – a thrilling blend of grunge, indie, folk rock, punk and shoegaze.
💋 I, Doris (London) – London’s original menopunks, mixing sharp wit, activism and irresistibly catchy punk rock.
💋 Molly Vulpyne (Dublin) – melodic punk and post-punk packed with power, passion and unforgettable hooks.
💋 Second Idol (Sydney, Australia) – dark, emotionally charged alternative rock from Australia.
LOUD WOMEN exists to put more women on more stages and turn up the volume. More than a festival, it’s an international community connecting artists, audiences and organisers who believe music scenes are stronger when everyone gets heard.
Expect incredible bands, new discoveries, old friends, future collaborators and the welcoming atmosphere that has made LOUD WOMEN festivals famous around the world.
