NYC-based singer-songwriter Anna Hay shares her latest single, ‘It’s All Good’.

Originally from rural Germany, Hay is currently completing a master’s in songwriting and production at Berklee NYC. ‘It’s All Good’ was made in collaboration with David Bendeth, the producer behind Paramore’s Riot!.

Channeling early 2000s Disney-pop nostalgia with the angst of alt-rock–meets–pop fusion from the same era, the track explores the uneasy space of being in love with your best friend while watching them fall for someone else, unpacking what lingers beneath false reassurance.

“‘It’s All Good’ is something we say all the time without meaning it, especially when we’re trying to spare someone else’s feelings, or our own. This song is about the three little words that lie between the three big ones: ‘I love you’, disguised by a nonchalant ‘It’s all good’.”
