Fronted by powerhouse pairing Ailis Mackay and Hayley Tait, Manchester’s Dirty Blonde have been making waves over the past year with their fresh take on Indie Rock and off the back of winning Best Breakthrough EP at the 2026 Musos Awards for Looking for Trouble, the girls are back dripping with swagger on newest single ‘Indie Sleaze’.
Taking inspiration from the early indie days of packed dance’s floors on a Saturday night, ‘Indie Sleaze’ will have you longing to re-create those good times.
We were around to witness a golden age of indie music in the early 2000’s, but we weren’t old enough to get into the clubs. Sometimes we just want to go back in time and be Kate Moss in 2005! The best thing we could do was write a song influenced by that feeling, and picture ourselves on the dancefloor back then.
