Nadia Sheikh, a British-Spanish alternative rock/pop artist, releases her new single ‘Fade Away’. Perfect for listening to on an autumn walk, with a chorus that echoes in your mind and lyrics that turn daydreams into self-reflection.

Having previously supported indie-pop giants Bastille at a sold-out show at Brighton Centre, her latest release features additional guitar riffs from Bastille’s Will Farquarson, adding another layer of energy and depth to her distinctive sound. It’s a collaboration that reflects both the strength of Nadia’s songwriting and the respect she is earning from established names in the industry.

Nadia effortlessly balances rock-driven rhythms with catchy pop melodies and captivating vocals, transforming thought-provoking lyrics into something both engaging and enjoyable. Like her previous releases, ‘Fade Away’ also carries a deeper meaning – one I can definitely relate to.

“I wrote ‘Fade Away’ about wanting to switch off – the noise, the misinformation, the comparison. It starts as a wish to disappear from all of it, but it’s also about what comes after: learning to deal with your own emotions and giving yourself permission to choose.” – Nadia Sheikh

‘Fade Away’ will be celebrated with a self-promoted London headline show at The Water Rats on 22 October, followed by a performance at Trovam Festival in Castellón, Spain, on 13 November.
