Liberty’s Mother is the project of Professor Sophie Daniels, created in memory of her late daughter. On Saturday she presented the debut of her latest work, the Peaceful Warrior EP, which confronts issues effecting women head-on, combining raw emotion with fierce intellect. On stage she was joined by additional singers (including LOUD WOMEN Fest NYC alumni Dubais), adding choral depth. The result was moving, unflinching, and utterly unforgettable — a powerful blend of music, manifesto, and mourning that carried immense weight.
