Aussie-based Irish singer songwriter Bonniesongs releases her title track ‘Strangest Feeling’ from her second album, out 25th of July.
Bonniesongs explores a transcendent sound of indie-rock in this new single, blended with dream-pop, slow-core and art-folk which incorporates themes of spells, the ocean and Halloween creating an ethereal grunge.
“It’s maybe my only classic love song” explains Bonniesongs. “It’s about the fear of loss with loving someone but it’s a happy song, celebrating love and connection whilst also highlighting the inevitable future heartache.”
A song that allows you to ascend into her otherworldly voice and guitar, woven through with hauntingly beautiful folk influenced harmony, while serrated edges of indie and psychedelia cut through. It’s no surprise this single has already garnered a big accolade of being a semi finalist in the International Songwriting Competition.
