LA-based singer songwriter Madison Margot has a talent for weaving honest, personal storytelling with light, pop soundtracks. Since starting to play guitar and write songs at the age of eleven, Margot has been steadily honing her craft with various releases, now dropping her latest single ‘Fun’. Think Taylor Swift with a little more edge.

‘Fun’ opens bare and raw, until the first chorus hits with indie-rock style drums and we get a real feel for the energy that Madison Margot exudes. Her vocals are flawless; soaring pop melodies with a light sprinkling of Americana. The lyrics express those rose-coloured, nostalgic thoughts that can seep in after a break-up.

“I wrote it about wanting just one more night with an old love, where you forget what went wrong and just relive the beauty and magic. It’s a song to dance around your room in the midst of heartbreak and healing. It’s a song for anyone who’s prone to romanticizing the past.” -Madison Margot

Hard-hitting emotion, pop zest and a real sense of authenticity; Madison Margot is one to watch.
