Scottish indie artist Theo Bleak shares ‘Said Like A Poet’ – the final preview of her upcoming EP Bad Luck Is Two Yellow Flowers, out 15 May via Polymoon.
‘Said Like A Poet’ is an emotional track full of poetic awareness. Layered instrumentals weave around Bleak’s vocals, hitting a raw nerve.
“’Said Like A Poet‘ is a scathing look at how much I idealize intellect, even though I’m entirely emotionally driven. I think ideas can be beautifully written between people, but ultimately, there are concepts that lack properness—regardless of how pretentiously you write them out. I wrote this song about very human things, things I wish I knew how to ask for.”
