“Tea Eater is making a tarot deck to accompany our next record I Don’t Believe in Bad Luck with waffles as one of the suits in the deck. I’m also experimenting with food magic rituals.

Here is a waffle making spell recipe for unexpected goodness. It is vegan + gluten free!
Ingredients:
• 1/2 cups almond flour waffle mix
• 2 tablespoons olive oil (the oil of flow)
• 2 tablespoons nondairy milk (to smooth life’s rough edges)
• 3 tablespoons applesauce (for egg-replacement, love & knowledge)
• 1/4 cup shredded vegan pepper jack cheese (for spicy inspiration)
• 1/8 cup pineapple, diced (to sweeten the journey)
• 1/8 cup scallions, chopped (to keep you sharp)
• 1 pinch cayenne pepper (to add a kick when life gets dull)
Tools:
• A waffle maker (your gateway to cosmic conscious nourishment)
• A mixing bowl (the cauldron)
• A spatula (to flip any limits out of the way)
Steps:
1. In your bowl, combine the almond flour waffle mix, olive oil, nondairy milk, shredded pepper jack cheese, pineapple, scallions, and cayenne pepper. Stir it like you mean it!Each stir banishes limitations. Watch the batter come together, symbolizing your new, easier, graceful life.
2. Incantation of Release (while stirring): “Waffle batter thick and light, Take away my endless fight. With oil smooth and pepper’s spark, Release the burdens from my heart. Pineapple sweet and scallions green, Bring forth the flow of life unseen.”
3. Gently ladle the mixture into your waffle maker, watching it spread like ease and grace spreading through life. Close the lid, sealing in all that goodness, and step back. Trust the waffle process!
4. The Incantation of Goodness: As the waffle cooks. Stand near the waffle maker and recite: “Oh life of ease, oh life of grace, Let goodness fill this waffle space. Crisp and light, release and rise, Let joy and fortune open wide. Unexpected, yes, but also more, Goodness, come knock down my door!”
5. Consume with Intention: As you eat, visualize all your successes coming with ease. With each bite, whisper: “With every bite, I now embrace, A life of joy, a life of grace. Expected gifts and those unseen, Flow to me like this waffle’s dream.”
Making a waffle in the grand scheme of things may seem like a small act. But then again, so do all the things that can change us. You never know what meal might be the one that opens the doors to new possibilities!”
