London-based queercore band The Oozes dropped their blistering new single, ‘Ultrasound‘ – and it’s the soundtrack to our Friday!

It is cutting and dynamic, blending theatricality and aggression in a signature way that fans of the band have come to adore.

It is an apt sonic representation of a mind losing its stability and refusing to go out quietly. It’s also one of the longest songs the Oozes has ever released – clocking in at a whopping 2 minutes and 37 seconds. If you love fast-paced music with loud guitars and lots of screaming, then ‘Ultrasound’ is for you!

The Oozes are playing Independent Venue Week in Cambridge and Margate alongside Girls Like Us and Gen and the Degenerates. Additionally, lead vocalist Tom Gilbert is raising funds for his top surgery; you can find tickets to their benefit show on Feb 9th here, or you can donate directly to the fund here.
