‘Fuck Around Phase’, the most recent release from Toronto’s finest indie rocker Housewife is the anthem that should dictate how we all lead our lives: don’t take things too seriously and live for the moment, especially after coming out the other side of a rough patch.

The swagger from Brighid Frys’ lyrics perfectly matches the unapologetic distorted, overdriven sounds of producer and occasional co-writer Gabe Simon (Lana Del Rey, Dua Lipa).

‘Fuck Around Phase’ has ‘song-of-the-summer’ plastered all over it; it pulls no punches, putting its point across while being relatable on many levels.
