“New Day is inspired by a poem written by my partner about his daughter’s childhood night terrors. I think we can all relate to night terrors even as adults, and those negative scary thoughts that come into our heads in the middle of the night.
The song is about the feelings of helplessness as an onlooker to a child having a night terror, but also at the relief and optimism that a new day brings”
