‘Ego’ is about those people who are only ever interested in themselves. That ‘friend’ who never ever asks you a question? Yeah, you know the one.“You got to listen and stop, listen and stop,” the lyrics say, “This conversation is too odd, you better shut it up”. 

“We are very excited to share our new single ‘Ego’ and to present a foretaste of our upcoming second album. We think ‘Ego’ shows a kind of new side of us sound-wise and we had a lot of fun shooting the video with miniature versions of ourselves on a dirt bike track in the middle of nowhere.”

DIVES

DIVES are Dora de Goederen, Viktoria Kirner and Tamara Leichtfried, the 3-piece have previously released one album, their debut Teenage Years Are Over (2019, Siluh Records). They mix surf-pop and garage-rock with Riot Grrrl attitude, and a message for today: anti-discrimination, pro-equality and pro-humanity. This is their first UK single, but they are already known and loved in the rest of Europe from their tour with Courtney Barnett and L.A. Witch.
