The percussive intro of track of the day ‘Nebula’ demands attention. What follows is a beautiful sequence of electronic shimmers and swirls – a musical version of the titular phenomenon.
‘Nebula’ is the first single from Lewisham’s Sarah Williams White‘s upcoming album Unfathomable and her first release since becoming a mother. Clear in every line is Sarah’s wonder at her new daughter – the whispered vocals could even be a mother soothing a child. With the world the way it is, ‘Nebula’ is a lovely, much-needed reminder of the beauty inherent in every life.
