Out now from tara-bridget: the proceeds from single ‘She’s so cool’ will be going to women-lead charities for mentoring and education for young girls.
The Brooklyn songwriter explains the personal story behind the song:
‘She’s So Cool’ was originally written for my best friend who was having a the toughest year of her life, but managed to stay calm. As time past, I realized the song took on more meaning than paying homage to her. ‘She’s so cool’ pays homage to women in power, keeping cool every day under pressure, and a thank you to all of the women in my life who have shown me the strength it takes when it feels as though the world is working against me.
