London’s MIRI has a lush new EP, ‘Soundbites’, on the way, and she’s treated us to a cracking video for lead single ‘Good Ones’ – a fine video of the day today.

The song showcases MIRI’s trademark soulful tones with rebel girl spirit. A lament on the feelings of helplessness all too familiar in our troubled times, it was the majority vote in UK’s Parliament to Bomb Syria which became the catalyst for the track. The video takes inspiration from Bob Dylan’s classic video for ‘Subterranean Homesick Blues’. Check it out.

And if this whets your appetite, you’ll be pleased to hear that MIRI will be playing the second of our new LOUD WOMEN Unplugged nights at the Old Queen’s Head on 22 August!
