I stumbled upon this piece of music herstory on the web the other day – a map made by riot grrrl chroniclista Karren Ablaze. I asked her what she thought an version updated for 2016 might look like … she said, 

• “a new map would be different, much more bands … it would be good to see one with the band names on. Maybe someone will see it in your zine and decide to do that?”
