Power-twee lesbian raccoon rock duo Trash Panda Go Kart return with a punk cover of the beloved Muppet classic ‘The Rainbow Connection’.

Made up of Selena Kane and Zinnia Su from the Island of Misfit Toys, Trash Panda Go Kart found comfort in The Muppet Movie following the dark night of the election. Kermit’s swamp ballad is heart-wrenchingly introspective and a much-needed reminder not to lose hope in dark times. As Jim Henson once said, “The Muppets aren’t really for children, but rather the child in all of us.”

The cover arrives ahead of the duo’s third full-length album of original material, RACQUEENS OF NOISE, due later this summer. An EP of covers would be amazing too. Just saying.
