Japanese singer-songwriter AKO releases her new single ‘Harmony’, a piece rooted in fleeting moments and an ending theme song for the anime ‘Kirio Fan Club’. Whilst I definitely relied on the subtitles to understand the lyrics, the rhythm of the music with soft voice of AKO makes this one of those musical pieces that fit perfectly in your playlist without needing to understand every word.
The contrast between the upbeat flow of the melody and the intentionally meaningful lyrics of loosing time, create moments of sadness paired with hope, joy and love. This mix of emotions takes you on a journey which makes your body fall in harmony with your mind as you relax and process how momentary your time with someone can be.
