LOUD WOMEN launches a brand new gig series at The Bread & Roses in Clapham – the UK’s only trade union–run venue – and we could not ask for a more perfect place to put down roots. Expect intimate shows, brilliant artists, and a properly LOUD WOMEN-shaped presence in this gorgeous space. For our first night, we’ve lined up three stunning acts who each bring something completely different, and completely special.

Dubais
An international underground art icon and genre-melting musical force, Dubais moves effortlessly between dark pop, experimental electronics and poetic performance. Known for her theatrical presence, razor-sharp wit and genuinely iconic fits, her live shows feel like stepping inside a striking, surreal art film – immersive, stylish, funny, unsettling and utterly magnetic.

Freya Beer
Hailed as “a raw and thrilling new talent”, West London singer-songwriter Freya Beer blends gothic soul, dark pop and alt-rock into emotionally charged songs shaped by art, literature, alternative fashion and a devil-may-care spirit. Her music is intimate and intense, vulnerable yet defiant, weaving romantic darkness with sharp modern storytelling. Dreamy, dramatic, and quietly devastating in all the best ways.

Where We Sleep (solo set)
This special solo outing sees Beth Rettig strip things back to their emotional core. Performing intimate, fragile songs rooted in honesty and catharsis, her work lives somewhere between soft-focus melancholy and raw confession — true to her tagline: odes for the broken. Expect hushed rooms, held breath, and beautifully heavy feelings.

Three exceptional artists. A brand new LOUD WOMEN home. A union-run venue. Come be part of the start of something really special.
