London sister duo Fire In Her Eyes are gearing up to release their debut album Look Into The Sky (out 20 Feb 2026 via Creation Youth Records) – and new single ‘He Cries’ signals that we’re in for a lush, cosmic trip through psych-folk, soft rock, and soul.
“We wrote ‘He Cries’ together while spending time in Tenerife,” explains Daniella. “We wanted to create a mellow, soft rock track that felt intimate but powerful, something built on simple chords and honest emotion. At its core, ‘He Cries’ is about resilience…holding on when everything feels like it’s falling apart. It’s a reminder to keep going, even in the hard times.”
Sisters Daniella and Natasha Livingstone weave magic. Produced by Youth (of Killing Joke, Paul McCartney and The Verve fame), ‘He Cries’ shimmers with warmth and melancholy. Their sound nods to Laurel Canyon, Fleetwood Mac and late-60s psychedelia, but there’s something distinctly London in the delivery. The production is rich and cinematic, but never overblown; it feels intimate, like you’re in the room with them, candlelight flickering, synths humming softly in the background.
If you’ve caught Fire In Her Eyes live, you’ll know this isn’t all dreamy haze – their seven-piece band can turn on the fire when needed, bringing a kind of spiritual intensity that’s hard to fake. Their headline at The Grace, Islington on 9 December (with an exclusive DJ set from Youth himself) promises to be something special.
