Essex-based four piece She’s In Parties shares their latest single/video ‘The Times’ – another look into She’s In Parties upcoming EP Puppet Show, out 25th October via Submarine Cat Records.

‘The Times’ dives into how social media leads to frustration and confusion about your self worth that’s entangled with follower count. Lead vocalist Katie Dillon shares more about ‘The Times’:

“This song is about my internal battle with this new era of social media we live in. The lyrics “rewrite your mind” pretty much just mean that I need to rethink what I thought being a musician was like, and get with “the times”. If I don’t do it, somebody else will.

One voice tells me they can “take it all away” if we don’t use social media to try and make it as a band. Another voice tells me to “rewrite” my mind, so maybe it’s not so bad to use this new tool of promotion.”
