LOUD WOMEN is thrilled to premiere an exclusive full-album stream of Eden, the new album from Taos-reborn, New Mexico-rooted artist Dandelioness.

Out everywhere 29 October, Eden is an exploration of spirituality and desire. Blending otherworldly folk and pop, the album takes listeners on a vision quest through layered soundscapes and intimate, diaristic songwriting. Eden blurs the lines between desire, devotion and the divine.

Dandelioness shares with LOUD WOMEN the inspiration behind Eden:

“Eden is a love record between me and the divine. It opens with a song about that – in the second verse, I sing ‘Here’s how he likes me / face down in the dirt / with grass in my smile / and sin in my heart” and I’m talking about god. Same thing in ‘Pretty Plz’: “Haven’t I been good, daddy / Haven’t I been brave?” In Eden, I trace this thread of intimacy in and out of the mortal world. What if every lover I’ve ever taken is a different face of the same god? What if that love story twists and tangles across lifetimes? I had some of my dearest and most talented friends hole up with me in the thick of a snowstorm at Airtime Studios in southern Indiana to bring this project to life. I was looking to create some kind of sonic portal, with your desire shimmering in it like a mirage, close enough to reach and touch and pass through.“
