Meanjin, we’re coming for you! On Sunday 29 November, LOUD WOMEN Fest takes over The Brightside for a huge celebration of women and non-binary artists making glorious noise.
It’s the final stop of our 2026 Australian festival tour, and we’re going out LOUD.
We’ve got 11 fantastic bands bringing punk, riot grrrl, indie, noise, sludge and plenty of glorious musical chaos to the stage.

This Fest has been built with the help of two brilliant local musicians, Riley Doherty of ViperSnatch and Georgia Zemanek-Woodrow of Whoroboros, who have helped bring together an incredible mix of local talent and artists travelling from across Australia and the UK.
That’s what LOUD WOMEN is all about: building connections between grassroots music communities, supporting independent artists and putting more women on more stages.
Whether you’ve been part of the LOUD WOMEN community for years or you’re discovering us for the first time, we’d love to see you there.
