Katrina Ford, known as the frontwoman of Celebration, shares her new single ‘To The Lighthouse’, ahead of her upcoming album To The Lighthouse, out 30 October.
Inspired by Virginia Woolf’s novel, ‘To The Lighthouse’ takes a look at relationships, time and promises lost in the ticking of the clock, blurring the boundaries between the present and memories of the past.
“Even when looking out the window the brain is a Time Machine. The body as a vehicle through sensory input and collective experience can simultaneously straddle the world of the physical now and the memory of other times. I feel like I’m fighting the weather with high kicks, here paying homage to Siouxsie Sioux, with a hut! Hut!”
