LOUD WOMEN is stoked to premiere ‘All My Heroes Are Dead’ from Los Angeles-born, London-based multidisciplinary artist Veronica Bianqui. The new single arrives alongside the announcement of her sophomore album, Use Once Then Destroy, out 13 November via NX Records.
‘All My Heroes Are Dead’ is a gritty and unfiltered look into the world of Use Once Then Destroy, bringing playful garage-rock energy and bratty angst. Bianqui shares:
“Every once in a while I get the absurd impulse to bleach my hair, like that’s somehow going to change how I feel inside.When I wrote ‘All My Heroes Are Dead,’ that urge came back, and I could feel my self-destructive side creeping in again — so instead of acting on it, I turned it into a character. I imagined a bratty teenager who’d decided everything was a bit shit and leaned all the way into the chaos. There’s a lot of me in her, but she’s exaggerated — the volume turned all the way up. The song became my way of bringing some levity to a heavy subject, and reminding myself not to take every dark thought so seriously.”
